The KP Alum Group Network is a private invitation-only Mighty Network group.
A Mighty Network is a simple yet amazing way to bring together our KP Alum Group community to create profiles, content, unlimited topics, posts, discussions, direct message & more—all right here in one place! Mighty Network is a great private, secure alternative to a Facebook Group that we own and control.
Our KP Alum Group Network is our own secure place, a place where we can focus on connecting, seamless communication, sharing of information and ideas.
KP Alum alumnae sorors that were made at UMD or transfer sorors who have maintained close ties with KP alum and have since graduated from UMD and/or are have UMD alumni status.
Once a Kappa Phi undergraduate soror has graduated from UMD and/or has achieved University of Maryland at College Park alumni status, the soror can reach out to the Network Admin Team to inquire about joining our KP Alum Group website, app, and network community. Upon verification of graduation and alum status, the Soror will receive an invitation to join our network.
Our KPAGN Code Of Conduct
We're all here for the same purpose.
Therefore, it is important we keep our KP Alum Group Network (KPAGN) strong and useful. These guidelines were created to ensure that together we're creating a place that’s welcoming, inclusive, and valuable for all KPAGN Sorors. Sorors, with that in mind, we ask that you keep these principles in mind when you post.
Always be sisterly to one another.
We are a family of Delta Women with unique experiences and valued voices. Communicating here with one another, demonstrating grace and respect is only the beginning of who we are as Kappa Phi Sorors. KP Alum Group Network [KPAGN] is an excellent way for us to strengthen our connections with each other.
As email/text is a ‘dead language’ please be conscious and considerate of your tone and read our Soror’s posts with generosity. Always be sisterly kind and constructive when you add a new post, ask a question, or comment on a Soror’s contribution. This also applies to all topics, posts, discussions, comments, and messages within our network community. All KPAGN members must adhere to the following:
* Focus on connecting, seamless communication, sharing of information and ideas.
We want to foster an environment with a focus on a better, seamless information and communication hub where KP Alum Sorors can share questions, important information, stories, perspectives, announcements and more. All of which can only happen when we are committed to open dialog, collaboration, and true knowledge sharing.
* Be respectful.
Be sisterly, kind and constructive when you add a new post, ask a question, or comment on a Soror’s contribution. No posting of any religiously/politically/culturally offensive content of any kind is allowed. Snark or spam will be deleted immediately.
* Provide context.
We love it when Sorors share links and resources. If you do, add some commentary or give us some context so that we can understand more about why you care about this particular topic or article.
* Do not excessively promote.
Feel free to share your knowledge and experiences with the others here in this community, but please do not excessively promote yourself or your business. Spamming, soliciting, excessive self-promotion, or other outside advertising will not be permitted.
* Be mindful and adhere to our Network rules.
Any Soror who violates the rules will receive only one warning before being banned from our network.
Have questions? We're here.
If you see a post in our feed that you feel may violate these guidelines, flag it! Our Network Admin Hosts will step in to contact a Soror privately or remove the offending post. If you have questions or comments about this policy, feel free to email us at [email protected]
Sisterly,
KPAGN, The Network Team
